Raquel is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT-10770). As a therapist she believes compassion, patience, and curiosity are essential to creating a space for you to feel supported. It takes courage to talk about experiences that are impactful and emotions that are tender. It is her goal to collaborate with you to promote your wellbeing.
Raquel believes we all have a need to feel emotionally safe whether with our partners, our family, our community, or within our internal selves. In her work with couples, she utilizes evidence-based practices that emphasize building trust within the relationship so partners feel safe and understood. Working together, she helps couples grow in communication, empathy, and respect.
She has experience working with individuals in areas of anxiety, sexuality, self-esteem, and cultural identity. She strives to create an inclusive space for black, indigenous, people of color (BIPOC) and marginalized folks. This is a space for you to be seen and focus on what is most meaningful to you.
