Many men are used to handling stress, relationships, and difficult emotions on their own. This group brings together a small group of men to practice speaking honestly, listening with acceptance, and supporting one another.
We explore topics such as emotional awareness, relationships, attachment, loneliness, dating, belonging, self-worth, rejection, vulnerability, and expressing emotions in healthy ways. While these conversations cover a wide range of topics, I have found that the greatest value comes from the experience of sharing openly with other men in an accepting and understanding environment. Over time, participants often become more aware of themselves, gain more insight into their relationships, and discover that they are not alone in their struggles. Hearing another person’s experience often helps participants recognize feelings, memories, or patterns in themselves that they had never fully put into words.
This group is ideal for men who want to feel less alone, improve their relationships, and develop greater emotional resilience. It is a valuable addition to individual or couples therapy for men who could benefit from practicing vulnerability, receiving support from peers, and experiencing healthy connection with other men.
