About Matthew

I love being a relationship-focused therapist because healthy relationships help us live our best lives. I deeply respect the courage it takes for people to invest in their relationships, especially when things feel stuck or painful.

I work with couples and individuals who feel caught in frustrating patterns in their relationships. Together, we work to understand where those patterns come from and how they keep repeating. That means we don’t just talk about what happened—we slow things down and look underneath the conflict. When we can see the pattern clearly, new choices and deeper connection become possible.

I also recognize how important sexual connection is to relationship health. Unfortunately, sex often becomes a place of shame, anxiety, or disconnection for many people. In my office, I aim to create a space that is both safe and brave—where we can talk openly about fears, desires, and longings without judgment. My goal is to help people experience their sexual relationship as a place of connection, playfulness, and fulfillment.

Clients often come to me when they feel stuck having the same arguments, feeling distant from their partner, or struggling to talk about sex openly. In our work together, we slow things down, get underneath the pattern, and create space for more honest connection. I bring curiosity, directness, and a sense of humor into the room. Therapy with me tends to include both meaningful conversations and moments of laughter as we work toward deeper connection in your relationships.
