About Shannon

Shannon is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AZ-LAMFT #7058T). She obtained her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. Shannon has received training in various therapeutic modalities and brings an Emotionally Focused (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Medical Family Therapy, and/or Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) perspective to the counseling room. With an extensive background in competitive athletics and coaching, Shannon approaches therapy from a systemic and holistic approach. She offers client-centered collaborative care based on honest communication and trust. She has over 18 years of experience working with adolescents and young adults.

She strives to foster a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment. Shannon enjoys helping competitive athletes and their families navigate relational struggles, mental health concerns, and unique pressures related to sports that may be impacting performance and overall emotional well-being. Shannon also has a personal interest in supporting foster and adoptive families as well as individuals/families battling chronic or terminal illnesses. 
Shannon has been married for 17 years and has three children.
