About Shannon

Shannon is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AZ-LAMFT #7058T). She obtained her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. Shannon has received training in various therapeutic modalities and brings an Emotionally Focused (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Medical Family Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) perspective to the counseling room. With an extensive background in competitive athletics and coaching, Shannon approaches therapy from a systemic and holistic approach. She offers client-centered collaborative care based on honest clear communication and trust. She has over 25 years of experience working with adolescents, young adults, and parents.

Shannon has a passion for walking alongside individuals, families, and couples as they discover how to overcome relational challenges and individual concerns. She strives to foster a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment. Shannon enjoys helping competitive athletes and their families navigate relational struggles, mental health concerns, and unique pressures related to sports that may be impacting performance and overall emotional well-being. Shannon also has a personal interest in supporting foster and adoptive families as well as individuals/families battling chronic or terminal illness.
