About Madison

Safety. Acceptance. Understanding. Healing.

These are the experiences I hope you feel with me, within your relationships, and within yourself. I believe that where there is safety and connection, healing and growth can follow. When we feel truly seen and accepted, there’s room for honest conversations, deeper understanding, and the kind of connection that leads to lasting change.

I’m a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, and I work with individuals, couples, and families. I bring my full, authentic self into the room, offering warmth, curiosity, compassion, and sometimes a little humor or a well-timed music or movie reference. Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or clinical. My goal is to create a space where you can exhale, show up as you are, and feel supported every step of the way.

I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach that helps people strengthen emotional bonds, repair disconnection, and feel more secure in their relationships. Together, we slow things down and make sense of your emotional world. We explore what’s happening beneath the surface and gently reshape the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Whether you’re coming alone or with someone you love, we’ll focus on building clarity, stability, and deeper connection.

My own life experiences also shape how I show up in this work. As an internationally adopted and neurodivergent person who returned to South Korea for five years as an adult, I know what it’s like to wrestle with identity, belonging, culture, and feeling caught between worlds. Through these experiences, I learned the power of self-compassion and the importance of having spaces where all parts of you are welcome. I’m especially passionate about supporting adoptees and those exploring identity, LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples, neurodivergent clients, consensual non-monogamous relationships, blended families, and people navigating immigration and acculturation experiences. Above all, I am committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space where you feel safe to explore, grow, and reconnect with yourself and with the people who matter most to you.

Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we’re supposed to be and embracing who we are.
