If you have ever experienced disconnection in one of your relationships, you are not alone. Each of us has struggled with the desire to feel connected to the people we love and the pain that comes when that is missing. My hope is to help you navigate those emotions and experiences in a compassionate and safe space.
In working with clients, I focus on the ways individuals relate to their families and communities, acknowledging how aspects of culture, beliefs, and values shape who we are. I engage in therapy through a trauma informed lens, utilizing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Restoration Therapy (RT). I am passionate about helping clients recognize their inner strength and move toward healing and growth.
Marriage and Family Therapy is a second career for me. I spent 25+ years working in early childhood education, supporting educators and parents as they fostered meaningful experiences and connections with young children. This work reinforced for me the importance of relationships within our families and communities, and aligns with my desire to support clients in establishing and maintaining strong connections with those they love.
Spending time with family and friends is what refuels me. I enjoy conversation around a table or fire pit, sharing the ins and outs of life, and splashing in the pool with the grandkids. When I’m not in Arizona, you can usually find me at the beach. The sight, sound, and rhythm of the ocean fill my soul.
