Our Intimate Connection: Creating a Relationship Where Intimacy Thrives

About The Event

A Workshop for Couples Who Want More Than Just Better Communication

Great relationships don’t just happen. They are intentionally built through emotional safety, vulnerability, playfulness, and meaningful connection.

Whether you’re feeling disconnected, stuck in the same patterns, or simply want to strengthen what you already have, Our Intimate Connection is designed to help you create a relationship where both emotional and physical intimacy can thrive.

During this interactive one-day workshop, you’ll discover how your emotional bond influences your sexual relationship and how your sexual relationship can strengthen your emotional bond. Through engaging teaching, guided conversations with your partner, and experiential exercises, you’ll gain practical tools to deepen connection both inside and outside the bedroom.

We’ll explore topics like:

  • Why emotional safety is the foundation of great intimacy
  • How attachment styles shape the way we pursue or avoid connection
  • The role your nervous system plays in desire, closeness, and vulnerability
  • Common myths about sex that create unnecessary pressure
  • How to navigate differences in desire without blame or rejection
  • Simple ways to build intimacy that lasts beyond the honeymoon phase

This workshop isn’t about becoming “better” at sex. It’s about becoming better teammates in your relationship.

Unlike many workshops that focus primarily on sexual techniques, we focus on helping couples understand each other more deeply. Drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment science, and current sex therapy research, we’ll help you have the conversations many couples want to have but don’t always know how to begin.

You’ll leave with greater understanding, practical tools, and a shared vision for creating a relationship where both partners feel emotionally safe, desired, and connected.

Continue the Conversation

Real change happens through practice.

After the workshop, couples have the opportunity to continue building on what they’ve learned through a closed, therapist-led follow-up group. These three 90-minute sessions provide additional support, coaching, and guided conversations to help you integrate what you’ve learned into everyday life.

You can register for the workshop alone or choose the workshop plus follow-up group package.

Is This Workshop Right for Us?

This workshop is designed for couples who want to strengthen their relationship, deepen emotional connection, and cultivate a more fulfilling intimate life. Whether you’ve been together for one year or thirty, you’ll find practical tools and meaningful conversations that meet you where you are.

We welcome all committed relationships, including LGBTQ+, consensually non-monogamous (CNM), and diverse relationship structures.

To help create a safe and supportive learning environment, all couples participate in a brief screening conversation before registration is finalized. In some situations, we may recommend a different level of support if we believe another format would better meet your needs.
