Kate is a Marriage Family Therapy intern currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling at Touro University Worldwide. As an immigrant from the Philippines at a young age, she brings a unique perspective as she understands the complexities faced by immigrants and military families. She is fluent in English and Tagalog.
Kate’s desired approach is characterized by creating a collaborative, nurturing, and culturally sensitive space. She recognizes the diverse backgrounds of each walk of life and aims to help them explore themselves and their emotions within a systemic context. Her primary focus is to facilitate personal and relational growth for each individual. Her overarching goal is to empower clients from different backgrounds to lead more fulfilling lives by building healthier connections within themselves, their relationships, and families. She strives to unveil each person’s uniqueness, empowering them to navigate their path in this world with confidence and a stronger purpose.
