Meet Nicole Rizkallah,

MFT Intern

Nicole Rizkallah is receiving her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. She excitedly joins Therapy With Heart as a student-intern under the supervision of Rachel Thomas, LMFT (AZMFT #10257).

Nicole has basic training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR); she is actively involved in professional associations, has held workshops at psychological conferences, and is published on working with couples where there are spiritual considerations. For the past decade, she has worked as a guidance counselor in high schools.

Nicole is interested in working with individuals, couples, and families struggling to find meaning and connection in their lives. No person is an island. Each day brings the same desire for fulfillment that highlights the tension between experience and expectation. She is inspired by the courage taken by those who seek support to discover their deepest desire in the face of uncertainty, struggling relationships, pain, or loss. She seeks to create a welcoming space where you can experience your authentic identity as someone loved and good.

Nicole has a focus on working with attachment injuries, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and trauma, and looks forward to building a connection with persons exactly as they are today.
