Matthew is an Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He obtained his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Auburn University. He believes that relationships are foundational for emotional health. Challenges faced in couples, families, and individual lives find healing in vulnerably and reaching out to work through problems together. Matthew provides a safe, judgement free area to help couples, individuals, and families face their problems. Talking about intimate details, such as sex, trauma, and shame, can be scary, and Matt is confident that reconnection and acceptance can be achieved. Matthew is honored to be a part of your healing journey.
Matthew has experience working with couples, individuals, youth, and families. His areas of interest include: Couples Therapy, Sex Therapy, Trauma, Parenting, and LGBTQ+ concerns.
Matthew has training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and works from this model in his couples’ therapy. He works with couples to help identify their hurtful cycles and create new conversations and deeper connections.
