Join Tara Verhagen, EFFT Certified Therapist, and Rachel Thomas, EFT Trainer, for an online consultation group focused on using Emotionally Focused Family Therapy with families that include adolescents ages 12 and older and adult children.
Through clinical video review, case consultation, experiential exercises, and supportive feedback, you will strengthen your understanding of EFFT and your ability to use the model in your sessions. You will have the opportunity to:
- See the power of the EFFT model in action
- Watch and learn from clinical videos
- Bring your own family therapy cases for consultation
- Receive practical feedback you can use in your sessions
- Practice EFFT interventions through experiential learning
- Connect with other therapists who care about providing quality family therapy
Whether you are newer to family work or want to deepen the work you are already doing, this group will help you feel more grounded and effective in the room with families.
Participants have preferably completed EFFT Essentials. This group focuses on families with adolescents ages 12 and older or adult children. It is not designed for clinical work with children under age 12.
Dates and Time
The group will meet online via Zoom from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Arizona time on:

- January 14, 2027
- February 11, 2027
- March 18, 2027
The group will remain on Arizona time throughout the series, including when daylight saving time changes in other states.
Cost
Each group is $100, for a total of $600. Register for the complete six-session series for $500 and save $100.
