As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT-15288) since 2014, my work is centered around empowering clients to rediscover their inner strength, safety, and resilience. I specialize in guiding individuals, couples and families through the process of unburdening emotional pain, overcoming negative beliefs about themselves, and reconnecting with their authentic, core selves.
I am a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist (EFT) and have completed extensive training in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). I approach therapy through a trauma-informed lens, integrating modalities such as Attachment Theory, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic approaches to create a holistic healing experience therapy. These evidence-based methods allow me to tailor each treatment to the unique needs of my clients, helping them heal, grow, and build deeper connections.
In addition to my clinical practice, I am passionate about teaching and mentorship. I am an Approved Supervisor with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AZBBHE) and serve as Clinical Director at Therapy with Heart. I also offer EFT Supervision to clinicians who want to enhance their skills in Emotionally Focused Therapy, pursue EFT certification, or become EFT Supervisors themselves. I am deeply committed to helping clinicians grow in their understanding of EFT and support them in their journey toward certification and professional development. I also have the privilege of teaching as an adjunct faculty member at Fuller Theological Seminary in the Marriage and Family Therapy Graduate Program, where I help shape the next generation of clinicians.
I have a strong commitment to the community, regularly facilitating couples’ workshops like Hold Me Tight, Created for Connections and Couples Communication. These workshops are designed to help couples move past barriers to vulnerability and deepen their emotional connection. This process transforms their relationships into sources of healing and mutual support. I previously served as the Director of Training for the Arizona EFT Board and remain actively involved in the EFT community, which continues to inform and inspire my work with couples.
I am an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT), the Arizona Marriage and Family Therapists Interest Network (AIN), the International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT), and the Arizona Community of Emotionally Focused Therapists (AZEFT).
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my husband and three children. I value family, the outdoors, reading, traveling, staying active, and connecting with my community—these are the things that keep me grounded and passionate about the work I do.
