Nicole is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #15896) and a Certified EFT Therapist.
Nicole’s deepest desire as a therapist is to support her clients in their journey to a more authentic, fulfilling, and hope-filled life. Throughout life, we often find ourselves stuck and uncertain of how to begin again. We may find ourselves struggling to connect with others or unsure of how to take those vulnerable risks needed to thrive. Whatever the sources of these stumbling blocks—childhood trauma, relational wounds, abuse—confronting them is daunting. Confronting them alone can be impossible.
Each person has a desire to love and be loved—to know their presence in the world has value and makes a difference to someone. Nicole is inspired by the courage taken by those who seek support to better themselves. She strives to create a welcoming space where you can experience your authentic identity as someone loved and good. Nicole appreciates that each person has their own story, and that every story embodies some degree of suffering, pain, and shame—she sees her role as a therapist as helping you to heal from your wounds so that you can move forward with a greater sense of self.
The temptation in this work of self-improvement is to see our weaknesses as something to overcome rather than our potential to live our humanity with strength and dignity. Individual perfection is a fool’s errand, and Nicole believes that in authenticity our truest happiness is realized. Nicole has experience working with couples and individuals who are struggling with attachment injuries, emotional regulation, trauma, anxiety, depression, and coping/life skills.
