Kelsey Riddle is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT-10537). Her passion is to help her clients restore connection and repair their most important relationships. She believes all people need love and connection, and that unfortunately we can become stuck in negative cycles that affect each other, even when we are making our best effort to maintain the relationships. Kelsey helps her clients to have new healthy interactions and to experience a deeper, more vulnerable, connection. Though change is not easy and often frightening, she believes the best thing she can do for her clients is to help them to have the strength and worthiness to ask for connection, and to in-turn accept.
Kelsey has experienced the security and confidence that loving relationships provide us. She attributes her success and happiness to her most important relationships and has made her goal to help others have this connection. She has witnessed firsthand the power of love, compassion, and forgiveness. She believes that relationships can be mended through the process of therapy.
Kelsey gained experience working with families and relationships while studying Psychology at the University of Alabama. She then went on to get her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Auburn University, where she worked as a practicum and intern therapist for two years and received extensive training on working with relationships, whether family, couple, friend, or otherwise. Additionally, Kelsey does work with individual clients on a wide range of issues. Whether you are coming to therapy for relational assistance, or are struggling with other life transitions, Kelsey is here to be a support to you on your journey toward your goals.
Kelsey is now a full time therapist at Therapy with Heart. She has completed training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and is the Co-Director of Training for the Arizona Community for Emotionally Focused Therapy.
