Jadi is currently pursuing a Masters in Clinical Mental Health from Townsend Institute at Concordia University, Irvine. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Cardinal Stritch University in Business Management with an emphasis in Psychology and French, studying as an exchange student in Nantes, France, for one year. Jadi is an intern at Therapy with Heart under the supervision of Tara Verhagen.
Jadi is a mother of three young adults ranging in age from 19 to 31. Prior to interning with Therapy with Heart, Jadi applied her passion for relational care in a variety of roles such as leading study groups, mentoring women in addiction, and hosting international students from France and Ukraine. As a Masters student, Jadi has sought out opportunities to learn from field experts through in-depth training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP).
Jadi’s passion for relational care was born from the adversity she experienced in her young life, a curiosity about that which had been missing, and the effect of it in her life. She has personal experience with relational trauma and is adept at identifying and attuning to the difficult and often complex emotions and patterns that are a part of relationally traumatic experiences. She seeks to provide the relief that comes from feeling understood and seen which paves a new neurological path creating inner strength and growing into personal transformation.
