Each individual, couple and family has unique challenges and strengths. As your therapist, Carrie is committed to understanding and connecting with your experience in order to work by your side to discover and work towards the life and relationships you desire. Her hope is that you will feel accepted and supported as you work collaboratively along this journey of growth. Couple relationships can bring the greatest satisfaction in life and the greatest challenges. As a mother, Carrie understands the challenge of managing multiple relationships and life responsibilities while raising children. She considers the couple relationship foundational to the work of parenthood. Genuine connection and safety in relationships is possible and can create the type of couple relationship that is a protective factor to the ups and downs of life. When a couple is hurting or in distress, finding a way back to connection can begin the healing process.
Carrie is a graduate of the Arizona State University Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy Program. Carrie is pursuing advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). In addition, Carrie is a PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator and a Parenting with Love and Logic Facilitator.
