Amari Leaphart is currently a student at Northcentral University where she is studying to receive her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, however, this is not her first dive into gaining expertise in the mental health field as she also holds a Master of Arts in Psychology. Based on her passion for the success of relationships and individual health, she is pursuing this degree and license. Amari is currently an intern at Therapy With Heart under the supervision of Rachel Thomas, LMFT (AZMFT #10257) and Kelsey Riddle (AZMFT #15369).
Amari comes from a background of diverse experience in medical specialties, but her keen awareness of the importance of mental health has captivated her for much of her career. She has earned opportunities to learn various treatment styles to include holistic alternatives and she truly believes that every patient’s care should be their choice.
It is Amari’s mission to foster and nurture a welcoming environment where you have the freedom to grow in mind, body and spirit. She is impassioned about working with clients who are multicultural and strives to help you define your needs in your life and relationships through collaborative care. Amari is an avid supporter of empowering others by providing them with the tools needed to change your life through the application of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
Her greatest desire is to embark on this journey with you on the path to mental, physical, and spiritual wellness!
