About Michelle

Michelle Hildt is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (AZ MFT #15486). Michelle provides a safe, nonjudgmental space for individuals, couples, and families to build strong and healthy relationships. She helps guide individuals through life’s challenges with empathy, security and patience to allow for healing and change to take place. She knows the courage it takes to seek support and the trust placed in her as she walks alongside her clients on their personal journeys.

Michelle’s passion for authenticity and living a wholehearted life drew her to the field of Marriage and Family Therapy. After many years as a wife, mother and business owner, she decided to pursue her true passion by learning the skills necessary to help others as we navigate the challenges inherent in close relationships. Michelle earned her Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University after having worked for over 20 years with children and adolescents in various group settings. Michelle also has experience working with couples and individuals through a variety of issues including self-esteem, communication skills, parenting skills, anxiety, depression, family conflict, anger and trauma.

Michelle has completed Advanced Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) training and has been using this approach with her clients with success for many years. In her work with couples, she rebuilds the emotional connection and creates a space to have open and honest communications. She currently serves on the AzEFT Board as the Membership Chair and Secretary. In addition to her work with couples, Michelle also has training in EMDR and Trauma.
