Michelle Hildt – LAMFT
Michelle’s passion for authenticity and living a wholehearted life drew her to the field of Marriage and Family Therapy. After many years as a wife, mother and business owner, she decided to pursue her true passion by learning the skills necessary to help others as we navigate the challenges inherent in close relationships. She is currently an MFT Intern under direct supervision of Rachel Thomas, LMFT.
Michelle has over 20 years experience working with children and adolescents in various group settings, helping to provide each of them a safe place to learn and grow. She is very sensitive to and aware of the need to provide a nonjudgmental environment for open communication so growth and change can take place.
Michelle is in the process of completing Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) training and uses this approach in her work. When working with couples, she provides a safe environment for couples to reconnect emotionally, to resolve conflict and to move forward as a couple.
“I love people and believe that true happiness comes from our relationships with each other. My goal is to help you work through any obstacles standing in your way of being at peace with who you truly are and building emotionally-connected relationships with those you love.” –Michelle Hildt
